N° 002 · THE STUDIO
We work in the discipline of architecture — beginning with how a space is used, how it is moved through, and how it is felt in use. Every project is resolved through considered planning, careful proportion, and a quiet attention to material.

N° 004 · PROCESS
A clear, four-stage process.

01 · BRIEF & PROGRAMME
Defining architectural intent.
We begin with a clear understanding of how the space will be used — occupants, daily routines, technical requirements, and aspirations. The result is a focused programme that guides every decision that follows
Deliverables · Programme brief · Adjacency study · Reference direction.
02 · SPACE PLANNING & LAYOUT
Strategic optimization.
The plan is developed with architectural rigor. Circulation, sightlines, and proportion are tested against the programme until the layout works at every scale — from the overall flow of the space to the dimensions of each detail.
Deliverables · Space planing · Furniture layout · Joinery elevations.
03 · MATERIALS & FINISHES
Tactile precision.
Material direction is presented as edited palettes — finishes, joinery, lighting, and furnishing developed together as a coherent scheme. Options are reviewed and refined with the client before specification.
Deliverables · Material direction · Lighting design · Furniture & finish schedules.
04 · DOCUMENTATION & DELIVERY
Technical delivery.
The project is documented in full — plans, elevations, sections, and 3D coordination — ready for trades and procurement. The studio remains involved through delivery to protect the integrity of the design.
Deliverables · Construction drawings · BIM coordination · Project oversight.

Chana-Rivka Thierman, founder.

MATERIALS
Selecting a desaturated palette of natural stones, hand-finished metals, and tactile textiles that age with character and stand the test of time.
How we think about interiors.
Spatial logic as the starting foundation.
The shell carries an interior — walls, ceilings, joinery, light. We resolve these elements first, before furnishing, so the result reads as a single, coherent space.
Thorough documentation protects the design intent.
Detailed drawing sets and rigorous coordination ensure that the initial design vision is translated exactly into the built environment.

DOCUMENTATION
Each project is organised around a single, clear concept — the idea we return to when decisions get hard, and what makes the finished space feel resolved.
Clear narrative.
